I have sang this song live about 500 times... on gigs, weddings, birthdays, karaoke bars... you name it. But one of those times stays in my mind... the time I sang it to a girl who I wished to be mine. And few years after that... I finally got my chance. So there's a happy ending to this story =)

The 80s were indeed a wonderful time. I miss the awesome movies I used to go to with my friends..before everything became junk. And jelly bracelets and rainbow brite. Although I wish I had been part of the 60s, it just seemed more careful and less about appearence than the 80s.

I wish so much that I was alive in the 80s! Even the not-so-popular songs then were better than anything made nowadays. The only good music I can think of today is country, which I like but don't listen to very much...

I believe you. People don't write anthemic music anymore or anything that really means anything. It seems more like they just write songs because it's their 'job' therefore not so much thought is put into them. Kind of depressing.

Believe me, you're better off not knowing. There's really nothing worth listening to. The music from this era has lost it's soul. I'm with you on the 80s and before. It was a magical time.

I'm a 92er too and I only listen to things 80s and before. Some 90s, but nothing from today. I don't even really know what's big right now besides 'Hannah Montana'. But anyway, I also love opera and classical. Tchaikovsky, Bizet, Verdi and Wagner are just some of my favorites.
