    For one thing, we have initiated a huge military package named Plan Mexico very similar to the aid package we give Colombia, fusing our military into Mexico's. When NAFTA was signed in 1994, the country immediately gained a military and economic status with the U.S. which would classify Mexico as a client state. We provide billions in weapons and arms, especially now that the right-wing government is facing rebellions in areas like Oaxaca. I highly recommend John Ross's work on the subject.

    Ask any Mexican and they will tell you that Mexico's media is even more tightly controlled than U.S. outlets, and somehow the Mexican government let this air despite the fact that Mexico is a U.S. client state?
