Before you say "Omg this is Metalcore, not Metal," Metalcore is a genre of metal first of all. Second of all, I put "Metal" Riff because this can be a variety of genres such as Melodic Death Metal, Thrash, and yes Metalcore. Keep in mind this is just one guitar riff, I've recently put other surrounding guitar parts around it to make it sound Melodic Death Metal.

My Equipment:

Guitar=Schecter Omen 6

Amp=15 Watt Marshall Combo MG15CD

Amp Settings= Gain all the way up, Treble all the way up, Bass 3/4 up, and
Middle/Contour all the way down.

Camera=Kodak V550 EasyShare

Pedal=Digitech Metal Master (Although I am not using it in this video, but the pedal is great for an awesome metal sound.)

I am aware that this is a generic riff. I made this up when I first started coming up with my own ideas. I am currently building upon it to make it sound more Melodic Death style than Metalcore.

My riffs are being put together for songs in my band, so they are not up for grabs. I am just looking for your feedback! Thanks again, and remember to rate/comment/subscribe!
