  • I Absolutely Loved Them...Still Do!

They are from Scotland and Scottish. Ian was from Ireland, he was one of the guitarists. Watching that video takes me back to high school. Gotta love those memories. I did wear my tartan. Learned everything I could about them, even doing a term paper about Scotland, and incorporating them when I wrote about the musical culture over there. What a great time in a young girls life. I will be a roller fan forever! In fact my best friend Anna and I were both roller fans. I wonder if she still is today. One can hope!

  • I have to admit I ...

I have to admit I liked them while they were around. This song was a Dusty Springfield classic and they did a good variation. Most people think this is a woman's song, but with a few minor changes in the lyrics, it's a great guy song too. We can love with all our hearts too.

I gave a 45 single of this song to my girlfriend Kathy Walkup when I was 19 and living in Cleveland. It was "our" song. She eventually broke up with me but we had a lot of fun.
