Heres a demonstration on how to make a bottle rocket simply.
Sorry for the noises on the mike as I was outside and it was a bit windy.

Tips for improving rocket flight:
Make sure the cork is nice and tight (not too tight as it might go Kaboom)
The launch platform isnt too tight on it
Dont fire it at your eye!

    Much better than the kid and his scotch tape & pen Idea. Oddly I happen to have a couple wine corks in the house, and my dad does construction, PVC should be easy enough to get ahold of. I have a class project, this should work well. Thank you.
