He is reciting poetry in special style called marseya. He is telling the Journey of grandson of Prophet Mohammad who was mitred in Karbala( Iraq) some 1400 years back by Yazeed who has Muslim but a terrorist wanted to take religious power from Hussain(grandson of Mohammad) so that he can change the Islam according to his comfort. Yazeed killed 72 people and then took holy familys women to Syria where they were sent on prison.

he is crying because he is reciting a remorseful hymn written for our Prophet's grandson and the sacrifice he gave for our religion.
