They almost got Matt, but WWE chose to resign him. Matt was supposed to make a run in or something saving Jeff back in the Summer of 2005. The two were supposed to go on to feud with AMW, but like I said WWE resigned Matt Hardy to a contract before any of this could've happen. However, WWE did let TNA use Matt Hardy for one night, but TNA chose not to go through with it because it would've been pointless, since it was for one night only.
