The fourth part in a continuing series of tributes to the beautiful and talented ladies of Britain's Hammer Studios. Part 4- Prehistoric Women: Raquel Welch (ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.), Victoria Vetri (WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH), Martine Beswick (PREHISTORIC WOMEN aka SLAVE GIRLS, ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.), the late Julie Ege (CREATURES THE WORLD FORGOT, LEGEND OF THE 7 GOLDEN VAMPIRES) and Ursula Andress (SHE). I know, I know, technically SHE is not a prehistoric flick but you must admit the plot is kind of old and musty. No?

Yes, It's sad to say that almost all involved in the Hammer films have passed away but with a careful choice of actors and keeping the storyline in it's original period without updating it (nothing worse). What made hammer so charming was their style of effects. The bash bash CGI of todays film making would never work. It's Wonderful to have Christopher Lee with us as an icon of the industry that is so fondly remembered. Hammer can still be reborn in the right hands.

I'd like to see Hammer back but just about everyone who made Hammer great are gone. Any new Hammer films would be just pale imitations. What do you think?
