Well bro, even i came from journey of listning to english music to Sami and lastly i landed listning to non-music or halaal nasheeds and mostly Quran.

I love to listen to Afasy. His nasheeds are mashallah and love his Qirat.

The only difference between you and me And the Sahabah Rasiallahu anhuma, is that they had greatest level of faith, while our level is not even to pass limit.

It is hard to give up music altogether, but i'd rather listen to this as the words are so beautiful. Allah bless sami yusuf hes showed me the right way and he will get reward for that i hope and pray.

you must not think like that as i am aware of music being haram but think about it youngsters nowadays listen to RnB and the dirty words they use are so bad and misleading so if a brother starts to listen to sami yusuf it is better than listening to the other junk. I myself was a bollywood music addict but i now only listen to sami yusuf and feel closer to allah when i do this.

Well, i use to listen to Sami Yusuf, but when i read the whole Quran Translation and also some Sahih Hadith forbidding music, i stopped listening to him.

I think i did the rite thing, now whats the difference between this nasheed and the one the use in indian songs.........music is haraam, religion is not a joke!!!
