Instinct 101B is right it takes skill and a lot of hours to put into Hunting. Although LUCK is VERY VERY VERY important also. lol I practiced for 100's of hours with my bow and spent at least 75 to 100 hours in the field last deer season and finally GOD smiled down upon me and blessed me with a Buck. But rifle hunting is nowhere near as hard as bow hunting. Although just being privileged enough to kill a deer is a blessing all itself. Great Video. Good Luck, Good Hunting, and GOD BLESS

I'm not a hunter, personally, but I've always been fascinated by hunting. After having seen a few vids on here with some spectacular shots, it kills me when people ridicule the method of the hunt. "it's not cool unless you've got a knife, yer neked in th'forest for three days and you make the final kill with yer teeth." Gimme a break. Bows and arrows are man made like rifles and it takes a different kind of skill to kill either way - but the truth is, it still takes skill. Great video. Congrats.

Beautiful buck man! Strange to see 2 bucks of very similar size together like that during the rut. I am after a similar buck and have been chasing him for about 5 years now. I got a shot off at him 3 years ago and he was a 14 pointer then. I never got him it was a split decision to shoot as he turned and ran. But that's hunting! Made up for it in November 2007 when I shot 2 smaller bucks in the first 2 days.
