  • Also, this is ...

Also, this is probably a stupid question. ever see the blue and red filters that are supposed to be ir goggles? theyre not magic. its either invisible or not. 900-1000 nm right? well. if those welding goggle things that dude made (search it) are legit, then whynot don a big array of leds around the gogs and ditch the cam. (stupid answer to stupid question, the goggles arent legit. the light you see is in the visible spectrum.

well I love the questions that people ask. ive been on this for the last 3 hours. literally. Im willing to bet this guy is planning to replace the legos and epoxy folks, so.... step off til you make a better one. I already have an old cam phone taken apart, looking for the IR filter which is in almost all cameras, as the CCD is sensitive to IR. Yours has "niteshot" so nvm that. it exploits said sensitivity! so ur set. the viewfinder-b&w mini cam thing on youtube is coooool.

That is really cool, I've made some myself but never thought of using a lens to focus the camera screen up close. Could you tell me what kind of lens you used and how you kept it bent . Tht would be awesome!
