My God I know exactly what you mean. Back when I was in Junior High there was a classic/hard rock station in my area that would actually play album fillers of Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Led Zep etc. etc. Then they got bought out by a regional radio network and it went all down hill from there.

Probably just because most DJs only play what's recent or what they think people already know, and most people only know what they've been played by DJs. I guess most folks are lazy & there's not many who go digging for more when they come across some good song. It's the same with Black Sabbath: Most people only know 'Paranoid', and that's not their best song by far, as probably most people a little more familiar with the band would agree. Even Paris Hilton is only famous 'coz she's famous. ;-)

True, but... Please, let me rephrase myself, I portrayed my point poorly. I was wondering why this song isn't better known amongst those who don't know Motorhead particularly well, whereas many of their other songs (which I consider inferior though still excellent) are known even by those who aren't keen on rock.
