The democrat platform in a nutshell. Turn the issue into a soundbyte, make up an absurd lie and repeat it until it becomes the de facto truth. This works because people that will buy into it are not aware enough of the issues to understand the absurtity of the lies they are innundated with.

I'm voting Republican [probably] because the Democratic candidate would like to ruin my healthcare system, among other things.

I also don't appreciate being put under stereotype simply because I refuse to let someone who doesn't hold my values win without opposition. If mine is the only vote against him, at least he knows how we stand.

I am not in the wrong party. I don't even call myself a Republican. I am a human being who is separate from the scape goat of labeling myself. I have voted both Dem and Repub. I base my decisions on the person, policies and many other things. I don't take what someone else says and believe it. I research things and figure out the facts from fiction. I like Obama. I think the man is an amazing person. But I don't agree that he would at this point be the right President.

What is really amazing to me is how so many people can make so BROAD SWEEPING statements about the character of a person based on their choice of political party. It's a shame that our country has actually come to that. I am proud to say that I will never defame someones character or make digs or belittle someone if they are a DEM or have diff views. Yes, I may disagree with alot of what they say, but I am sure there is something to agree on. I suppose its more fullfiling to dig at someone... :(

I am voting Republican because I want Child Molesters like Republican Senator Foley in power, and Sexual Deviants like Republican Senator Larry Craig in power. It just would be better to have people who cannot control themselves sexually or mentally in power like the last administration.

I support the troops in Iraq until they come home.
I support the reckless,rambo like behavior of black water in Iraq.
I don't want to see or hear about the dead soldiers coming home while watching tv.
Im not interested in the deaths of Iraqi civilians since the invasion 600,000 to 1.2 million.
I believe celebrities are more important than the displacement of 5 million Iraqis.
I don't care about anything that would allow my to think what's really going on.

Calling a Democrat a socialist is equal to calling a Republican a fascist. If you can't figure out the differences between the parties then you're either not looking very hard or you're not very bright.

Hmmm...did you miss the part about the looting and how the police spent hundreds upon hundreds of man hours attempting to stop the looting during a time of crisis. Makes you wonder. Funny, I haven't heard of any looting in Iowa. All I saw was people helping each other instead of standing on roof tops, crying on the side of the street and waiting for OTHERS to help them. That's the difference between one person and another. Victim and Non-victim.

Venting is good for you but I'm sure you know with 2 degrees that everything is in a cycle politics is no different the reps been in charge in congress and the white house and NOTHING is really going to well. 84% that's across all demographics feel that this country is going in the wrong way.Most reps on the hill see the writing on the wall. They have lost several seats so far and will loss many more. The dems have it now deal with it.
