Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee Defends Shaykh al-Albaanee and Shaykh Rabee' bin Haadee al Madkhalee Against Accusations of Irjaa` -

The muftee of the province of Jeezaan, al-'Allaamah Ahmad an-Najmee is asked whether Shaykh al-Albaanee and Shaykh Rabee' are Murji`ah and that they have entered al-Irjaa` into the Ummah.

Is Sheikh Rabee' from the Kibaar al Ulamaa?

Sheikh Muhammad AbdulWahhab al Banna said:

"Who is in this time similar to him? He knows the reality of most of the callers. Who is like him? He knows with proof and evidence. He doesn't speak about anyone except with the proof. That is why I say about Rabee' Haadee is similar to Yahyah ibn Ma'een in this time. You must forgive me son I have become old I forget, now I am 90 years. Shiekh Ibn Baz rahimahullaah is the Umar ibn AbdulAziz in this era. And sheikh Nasrud Deen al Albaani rahimahullaah is the Ibn Taymiyyah of this era. and Sheikh Uthaimeen rahimahullaah is the Shaf'ee of this era. By Allaah, the most knowledgeable of our scholars in this time ibn Uthaimeen rahimahullaah and the most generous is Sheikh AbdulAziz ibn Baz rahimahullaah, And the most knowledgeable of those differences between people and knowing the truth is Sheikh al Albaani rahimahullaah, and the most knowledgeable ones of Rijaal (men) with proof and evidence is Sheikh Rabee' Haadee May Allaah protect him. And May Allaah protect his 'intellect.

When Sheikh al Albaani rahimahullaah showed the errors of Sayid Qutb and Abdullah Dawaish rahimahullaah no one moved but when Sheikh Rabee' may Allaah be pleased with him, showed the misguidance of Sayid Qutb and he clarified it from his (Sayid Qutb's) books and his situation in the past, the world was against Rabee'. He said it with openness and evidence. So may Allaah reward him and make him firm and may Allaah keep him alive to remove those who wear the clothes of salafiyyah in order to fight it. We ask Allaah to show their state and clarify them and keep their evil away from us."

هل للشيخ ربيع المدخلي منهج جديد في الجرح والتعديل يخالف ما كان عليه الأئمة الثلاثة الألباني وابن باز والعثيمين ؟؟


والجواب :


قال الإمام عبد العزيز بن باز : الشيخ ربيع من خيرة أهل السنّة والجماعة، ومعروف أنّه من أهل السنّة، ومعروف كتاباته ومقالاته .

قال الإمام الألباني : فأريد أن أقول إن الذي رأيته في كتابات الشيخ الدكتور ربيع أنها مفيدة ولا أذكر أني رأيت له خطأ، وخروجاً عن المنهج الذي نحن نلتقي معه ويلتقي معنا فيه .

قال الإمام ابن عثيمين : والشيخ ربيع من علماء السنة، ومن أهل الخير، وعقيدته سليمة، ومنهجه قويم .

وقال --أيضاً- الشيخ العلامة المحدث محمد ناصر الدين الألباني --رحمه الله - في شريط (الموازنات بدعة العصر للألباني) بعد كلامٍ له في هذه البدعة العصرية :
((وباختصار أقول: إن حامل راية الجرح والتعديل اليوم في العصر الحاضر وبحق هو أخونا الدكتور ربيع، والذين يردون عليه لا يردون عليه بعلم أبداً، والعلم معه...



Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee was asked, during the dawrah in Jeddah on 25/5/1423H, "Is it correct that Shaykh Rabee was one of your students?". The Shaykh replied, "Shaykh Rabee' studied in the Institute, and I was also one who studied in the Institute, however Shaykh Rabee' is better than me, because he is a Mujaahid in reviving the Sunan and killing off the Innovations, and refuting the Innovators, and he has tasked himself for this matter, and we ask Allaah that he grants us all success in that which He loves and is pleased with."
