Soymilk is not juice. However, if soymilk is used in this recipe vs. whole milk the soymilk lacks the fat so obviously there will be differences in the creaminess of the icecream. Dr. D

Correct, using light milk, no fat, etc.. = ice milk... Which actually the ingredients and procedures described in the above video ends up coming out more like a "milk shake" type consistency. Dr. Diana

Plasmagic, thanks for watching the video. I have not tried using soymilk but I'm sure you could. The fat in the whole milk allows for creamier icecream. Using soymilk would probably be similar to an icemilk/light icecream. Sounds like a nice experiment. Dr. Diana
