Any video making fun of church (with a lower case "c") is good to me. The Church is made of people not special songs, good speakers, or bricks.

By juxtaposing church and Starbucks, it is easy to see just how trivial much "church" has become: how like selling a product the practice of American religion is. This exposes both the silliness and the stupidity of much of it. I am a clergy person, by the way. I'll definitely refer to this for an example of how NOT to greet and "welcome" people.

This is great! I pray that church leaders will see this and embrace needed change.

i hate "coffe shops" like this. they might be serving good "java" but how can someone that never "drinks coffee" ever learn to like it?

I laughed and cringed. I would make a caveat that the purpose of a church and a Starbucks are very different. Starbucks exists to sell a product. The Church exists to proclaim the gospel in word and deed.

Still, the critique is spot on. I sent this to my Council and committee chairs.
