    he used his jet pack to blast his way out of the sarlacc. beleive it or not fett had fallen into the sarlacc 3 times, the first time in star wars ep 6. the second time it regurgitated him out, and jawas found him. but the sandcrawer was damaged and fell back in, with fett still inside. but he got out yet again. there was no way a mindless beast could kill the greatest bounty hunter ever!
