C-130 Hercules Flying Low!

This was reckless and dangerous. In a previous life I was a C-130 pilot. This is not LAPES. LAPES is flown with the landing gear down! Flying this low is incredibly dangerous. Your altitude can change by a 10s of feet in an instant going this fast. The pilot should be removed from flying as should the copilot if he did not object to this manuever.

they fly that low to drop tanks , jeeps and other stuff ,, great to watch when they do :)

it wasent a training he is saying that he did it for FUN and he got suspended from the airforce untill a investigation is done

I was a crew chief at Little Rock Air Force base and C-130's are a jet engine with a reduction gear box to slow down the props. Each engine does not have tons of thrust that a fighter does and it cannot S**k a person inside even if you stand under the intake near the prop. People are more worried about getting blown away from the jet wash or cut up by props then being sucked in. This plane is made for flying low and doing short runway landings and take off. Its a tactical transport.

they wernt sucked into the engine because they arnt jet, there turbo prob + its most likley a training exersise, thats why its flying low....

Why the people on the ground wasn't sucked into the engine? And why the plane fly very low?
