At Cleantech Forum in San Francisco on February 25th, Intel Executive Vice President Sean Maloney demonstrated advanced 3D modeling design tools for green drafting and building design. Using software from Autodesk, he demonstrated how building designers can simulate how environmental factors such as geography, solar coverage and weather impact operational costs and energy consumption. These 3D tools will present the building design alternatives and choice of materials to achieve maximium energy efficiency, and optimum operational costs.
