From "Anne Murray in Nova Scotia", 1993. With the spectacular Cabot Trail as a backdrop, Anne Murray is joined by Rita MacNeil, The Rankin Family, The Gospel Heirs, Men of the Deeps and friends to sing "Rise Again".

About "Rise Again":
This song was written in 1984 by Cape Breton poet-songwriter Leon Dubinsky and debuted in the show "The Rise and Follies of Cape Breton Island". Originally sung by Raylene Rankin and the cast members (which included Rita MacNeil), it was released as a single by The Rankin Family in 1993 and quickly became a signature song for the group. Much to the delight of their audiences, they have re-recorded it on their most recent CD "These Are the Moments", 2009, and continue to include it in their concert set list. Raylene also sings "Rise Again" as part of her solo performances and fondly refers to the song as a "companion" who has been with her for many years.
