This video plays 11 major scales, note by note, with sound. Each scale section shows fret positions, key signature, tab and musical notation. You can use this with my "How To Build Guitar Chords" video as an aid to constructing chords in different keys.

    Yes - I thought long and hard about the fret positions - then opted for the open strings for simplicity. I also decided to limit the scale to one octave and to the bottom 5 frets! :-)
