This is an exciting practice done at the end of a good workout. You start wth a difficult weight & progress down until 10 lbs feel like 1000!

Ross Whelan is a 6'8" (shoe size 18) college student who has been training hard with friend Jordan DeFelice (who is a personal trainer). His goal- to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger in 3 months! When they hit the gym, they hit it hard!

Hammer time! Ross starts with 60 lb hammer curls before the camera starts, doing 20 of each. When the camera starts, he is using 55 lb weights, then he progresses down in weights by 5 lbs each time. In the end, he shows us how it feels to make it to the end. Invigorating!

Princeton Fitness is a huge 24 hr fitness center. It spans 2 buildings on the historic town square in Princeton, Indiana (Gibson County). PF is locally owned/ operated by Jennifer, a small-business owner. We have 8,500 square feet & 4 floors of space, cardio, tons of weight plates, benches, Sprint Circuit machines, 4 heavy bags hanging, & a huge room for aerobics, kickboxing, Taekwon-Do & yoga. Bodyfat range 28.7% to 49.5%.

Our rates are low enough that everyone can afford us, with limited memberships at only $3/wk. Full access is only $4.50/wk. Sign up with someone else & save- full access for 2 is only $7/wk. ...But don't let the cheap rates fool you. This place is nice & improving every week, as we are remodeling. The atmosphere is old school, where 100-year-old architectural charm meets modern convenience. If you've never been inside (or haven't been in the last 3 months) you should check it out. Evansville TKD Academy has a new branch here at PF. Taekwon-Do class Tues & Thurs 5:30 pm. Ages 6 & up. $40/mo. 2nd & 3rd family members $20/mo 4th or more family members $5/mo. Uniforms $35.99 plus tax. Special- 1st mo plus uniform $69 (save $11).

I get a kick out of teaching people how to use the machines & setting them up on training programs that suit their needs. Once they know what to do to make changes, it's as if this becomes their personal gym & all I do is keep their towels clean & answer the phones for them! I also enjoy seeing the members come out of the kickboxing class covered in sweat & saying "Great class!" & when they say their pants are falling off them! It is empowering to take control of your waistline & I love being a part of it.

The key in making a business like this work is to A) create a place where people are comfortable & free to try new things B) give them the right equipment, training & encouragement C) know when to push & when to coddle & D) be there when they need you. After all, it's the people that make this place great!
