This music is more like old school rap/crunk. If you "downgraded" a music track from, let's say, one of Dem Franchise Boyz' albums, it probably would sound like this music.

I'm not a fan of rap/crunk...I like old school hip-hop like Naughty By Nature, EPMD, Eric B. & Rakim, ATCQ, etc. But looking back on it now, 2 Live Crew paved the way for the rap music that's on the radio and on your iPods today.

2 Live Crew represents the original rap/crunk music! Or at least the rap music that's being played on the radio now with Ying Yang Twins, D4L, Chingy, Lil' Jon, Dem Franchise Boyz, and many others.

If you are a fan of rap/crunk music, this is like old school rap/crunk (well, it's old school rap music anyways).

It's hard to believe this music was from 20 years ago. In addition, this music video is tame compared to the X-rated rap music videos that are on BET now. :-)
