Thank you for making this video! My 3 year old daughter still nurses, and she has friends that are 4 who are still nursing, so this is entirely normal and accepted and dare I say, expected, in our circle of friends. I wish I could say the same for other moms, and I hope that videos such as this will dispel myths and misinformation.

Still breastfeeding at 23 months and living in Europe, never been expelled for BF, have breastfed everywhere: metro, train, bus, airplanes, airports, bars, restaurants, shops, museums, in the street, in the park, at friend's and family's, all over the place! ANd of couse, I attend La Leche League meetings...

Narrow minded people never cease to amaze me. I do NOT want this to degrade into this discussion. This is about breastfeeding NOT politics/religion, although I do believe that the personal is political!

Please keep your judgments to yourself, I'm sure there are aspects of your "lifestyle" that I would find appalling.

Thank you so much for all your hard work! The average time for breastfeeding, worldwide is 4.2 years. It makes sense for every woman to make her own choice as to how long she and her child would like to breastfeed, hopefully without judgement. My daughter weaned herself at 2.5 years, and my 16 month old will nurse until he is done.

Wonderful and inspiring. I extended breastfed all my four sons (why do we even call it this? Its just breastfeeding!) and received many hurtful and ignorant comments about my choice...thanks for getting the message out there!

There was, in my store, a lady (seem to be ill in the head) breast feeding what seemed to be a 3-4 year old. My manager asked her to leave, cause this was taking place on a bench in front of the store. She comes in and is a very odd and strange person....Another time she LET her older son reach into her pants while I was cutting cheese for her.
