    SUGARLAND... and the MIDNIGHT SPECIAL was a REAL locomotive TRAIN... the tracks ran close by the prison and the THOUGHT was that if the trains HEADLIGHT shined through the bars of a prisoners cell he would be close to PAROLE or RELASE...imagine that...
    a very old song with many verses and versions done superbly by the inimitable CCR. GOD BLESS 'EM !

    Anybody that wants to see a great CCR concert, FORGET JOHN FOGERTY, GO SEE INSTEAD, Creedence Clearwater REVISITED featuring orginal members Stu Cook & Doug Clifford.
    FOgerty's bands have NO CCR ENERGY! REVISITED DOES! Goes to prove that a lead vocal doesn't make the band. Want CCR DRUMS, SEE REVISITED. John Fogerty bands have been very weak and with no CCR energy IMO.
