Street Children

i was there in manilla 2007 from april 9th -may 10 we were at baclaran market i cam across these street children the poor little babies.i went there each day to the 7 eleven and i would feed them i've never seen a child smile like i seen them smile.i wish canada would start helping out some of these 3rd world countries.my dream is to put together a team of people and work on fund raising money for the needy.children there are commiting suicide as we speak because of their hardships in life.does anyone care????

That's why our organization here help by going there ourselves and feed them where we know where our efforts goes, so it will not end up to the person who uses it for their own.

It was not my intention to downgrade what you are trying to do. Forgive me for offending you. My question is what can I as an individual do to help these children? It makes me as mad as anyone else with a heart to see this...but what can I do?

wow... your comment is making me mad. my only goal on making this video is to show the world about reality, "poverty" and show that there's still hope for them. i never intended or tried to collect money from this video. it's disgusting that when you try to do something "good". some people will think it's bad. when you really wanna help those children. be open minded. don't just judge people. you can't say anything to me. you don't evn know me. last thing. i never mention "money" in this video!

this really makes me mad. Show me some sad pictures and ask me for money. Send me one of those children and i will give him love and a chance at a decent life. Money doesn't solve all the worlds problems, it's governments and politicians. Pouring money into their hands will not stop this, please stop begging for money and exploiting these unfortunate children for your own gain, it's disgusting.

Man i hate it when some american organization decides to pimp these peoples conditions. Think im full of it? investigate any U.S. or European based charity barely 37% of the money actually gets to the children or the poor. They have to pay for the singers, the production artists not to mention thier own fat salaries always in excess of 54k @ yr.

and also, I've just been in Zurich where I saw many child drug addicts too, aleeping along the benches in the Park beside the sea side then I furthered my journey to Geneve where I saw many kids selling marijuana drugs and sleeping along the bench too beside the tourist spot part in the City Centre.

I think child poverty is a world wide thing. I'm a Filipino Nurse myself who presently works here in Ireland. I love travelling myself too where I've been to many countries myself like New York whom I saw many child begging under the train station in Manhattan(Am Track Train). I saw many child prostitures in Amsterdam in Holland, Many child drug addicts in London begging and sleeping along the streets.
