A Jib my dad and I built. About 200$. GL-2 and small Sony Handy Cam. Final Cut Express. I will have another video with shots from the on jib camera. And no I do not have the plans (in blueprint form and materials) sorry, maybe sometime in the future. Thanks, any question feel free to ask.

Sorry I didn't get the next video about the pan and tilt up this week (June 26th) like i said I would. We are moving so it's been very hectic and I haven't had time to edit it, but it is shot. I will edit it once we are in the new house, Which should be mid-late August to early September. Sorry.

  • Do you know when ...

Do you know when you will make the video on the controls (pan & tilt) for the camera and camera mounts showing the various positions during panning and tilting? If the video has more time spent on these items , I think we could decipher the plans from there.

I was almost able to grasp the cabling and linkage systems used on your camera movements.

Thanks in advance and looking forward to the video on this.

Dude! You rock. Great job. I am trying to build a camera jib myself. I'm 38 years old and am very impressed with your work. Keep it up! When my jib is complete (in a few weeks) I'll be happy to post my work. I work for a school district, and I bought all the materials (aluminum alone was $177) a metals class is building it for me. It's a long process and very excited for the completion. I truly like your jib.
