THis move is similar to a Judo Trip, same mechanics, just a little more practical, and less of a chance for the opponent to sprawl out.

  • you can what if the ...

you can what if the hell out of any move. You can say this wont work if a person does this. or a person can recover when they are on the ground. However these techniques are used in life or death situations. It helps to get even a slight upper hand. You push the person down... who gives a F**k if they can recover Ive pulled my knife by then and I have the advantage. so what if the person moves out the way when youre charging them... what if you still had a gun. what if you broke your leg?

  • Don't be stupid. " ...

Don't be stupid. "ive known a bunch of people who can recover enough from something like that almost as soon as theyre down". That's idiotic. I bet they weren't wearing a 60 pound rucksack on their back either, were they? It's much different when you try getting up with something like that on your back, believe me.

  • I almost agree but ...

I almost agree but as soon as the person sees you charging in he would do what everyone does and drop his shoulders and his chest forward like a rugby or football player making it extremely dificult to push against. the person in the video is stood upright which is quite unrealistic.
i think there are better ways this. hand on his face and fingers in his eyes or hand under his chin would make him move backward straightening his back disorientating him then you can reap the F**k out of him hehe

  • I think that the ...

I think that the military knows what their doing, it would work against a bigger guy than you. Its not about size or strength, thats why you have a tripping point below the center of gravity and push above it. Although there are alot of ways to counter it though, like a hip throw with the right arm underhook.
