November 10th, 2008: I will no longer be accepting comments considering Ray's "need to repent" there is 100s of comments now all saying the same thing, that point blank, Ray's going to hell. Enough is enough. It's time to stop gossiping and pray that God will have his way. Love thy neighbour. Not saying your not allowed to disagree with Ray's lifestyle, but frankily to be blunt, i'm just sick of hearing about it. Nobody can say anything that hasn't already been said a thousand times and people are starting to get mean-spirited about it.

September 15, 2008: So I have gotten 100s of comments concerning Ray's coming out. I think we are all very shocked and maybe a little worried, but I had to not post most of them because they were simply too mean-spirited. When I said before I would not post mean-spirited comments concerning this, I did not mean comments saying they disagreed with his choice would not be posted. I meant I will only post comments that came with good intentions, and not from a judgemental mind.
I'm not going to go into is homosexuality right or wrong, is it a choice or some gene that is built in at birth. But I will say I still love ray's music. He has sang and written some of the greatest gospel songs ever and I am scared for him and feel sorry because I can only imagine the kind of comments he's getting and a lot of people are going to shun him for this.
It is okay to tell someone you do not agree with their lifestyle, or do not understand it. But I think it is VERY important to remember God wants us to hate the sin not the sinner so if you express concern for their souls, do it with a loving heart. Do not just stick your nose up at them and say "your going to hell" because that just pushes them farther away. I've learned this the hard way. Remember that God's Love is for EVERYONE, and when he died on the cross he was doing it not only for you, but for Ray as well.
What if it was your father who came out? Or your brother? your friend? You may not agree with their choice but, if your any kind of person you would still love them. How would you feel if people made the kind of comments to them that you all have been making to Ray?
Bottom line, just, pray for this sitatuion that God will move and will have his way. In the meantime, some of you need to get your noses out of the air long enough to examine YOURSELVES and why you think that you are the one exception to the fact that gossiping, hatred and judging are all sins as well.

the ever-so-popular "thank you for giving to the lord" song. I'm sure most of us have people in our lives that this song reminds us of, for me it would be my pastor and my mother.

    I love Ray & am so happy for him. Everyone on here that is posting horrific things needs to remember that just like them he is going to heaven because he believes in Christ. He is a child of God & a Christian. We are saved through GRACE people, not because any of us have earned it. God knows his heart & it is pure. Maybe you all need to look at your own planks before you worry about his splinter. Jesus speaks of divorce, not homosexuality. Maybe you all need to go attack the divorcees you know.

    I am reminded of the charicter of Christ when the "sinfull Woman' anointed Jesus feet. God knows what is in Ray's heart, so let God be God, You follow Christ's example of Love. Stop Trying to take Gods place I guarantee you, if he can make this little planet and hold it on it's axis he can do miricals for Ray, If you still feel the need to judge then examine your own life for that is sin as well, and you no better than a demon worshiper, murder, or a homosexual.All is sin and worthy of death.

    Let me just say that I am a christian first of all. Now, all of you on here that are totally judging this man need to read your Bible and quit judging this man so harshly. The Bible says that all sin, and it is not our place to judge others. Those of you that are quoting Romans Chapter 1 need to go on and read the start of chapt 2. It says that if you judge them, you are no different from them. Who am I to say that he isn't as much a child of God than me. He just struggles with different things.

Ray Boltz has a personal relationship with Christ, NOT you. God Accepted him and He will direct him. Not you.     I just have to say this is very sad. SIN IS SIN! What God CALLS SIN-HE IS NOT IN IT. He DOES NOT APPROVE IT. I love Ray Boltz and his songs. God help us all. He said he read the scriptures where God is against it; but still says God made him that way?!! Dear God help us all not to be that blinded by Satan; churches need to step up and start telling what the Word of God says instead of looking for money in their pocket. God is bound my his word.

    God is pure love, joy mercy and forgivness. He is also a rightous judge and will never condone sin. Always ready to receive you when there is repentence. The key is repent. I believe there is no forgivness without repentence. People want their sin and God to receive them. If God does He has to give the keys of heaven to satan. God cannot lie or not honor His word.     Clearly, our heavenly father protects us from ignorance. Do you truly believe a man who loves God with all his heart, has a family and ministers to countless thousands would throw it all away on a CHOICE! Homosexuality is a genetic logistic. It took great courage for Ray to come out and if you truly love as Jesus did you would accept the fact that God creates no mistakes and embrace him at this time.     Ray Boltz and his music made huge differences in my life years ago - and helped me be a better teacher for teen Bible Studies..I watched them "get" God's word through Ray. Nothing here has changed that. The only way Satan can take anything from us is if we allow it..Ray's music honors God - the rest is just noise. Per Billy Graham in this video "Don't let the headlines frighten you.. God is still sovereign."
