I finally got Super Smash Bros. Melee to run on DolphinWx 32-bit with music (albeit with some lag in the opening video).

Specs:
Dell XPS 420
Intel Core 2 Quad overclocked to 3.00 GHz
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32-bit, Windows Experience Index: 5.9

DolphinWX settings:
Version: Very old (can't remember, lol)
GFX: OpenGL
DSP: HLE
Pad: Keyboard pad (hence the difficulties when moving around the hand cursor in the character selection screen)

--- How to get the emulator ---
Official DolphinWX compiles are scarce, but the latest (unofficial) builds for Windows are almost always available at these sites:

Enjoy~ (To get the emulator working, you need to extract all of the files in the zip to some directory like C:\Program Files\DolphinWX, then run DolphinWX.exe.)

Any version that's ...
Any version that's more recent than like 6 months ago should have sound. Make sure you're using DolphinWX, not Dolphin.
