Human Weapon - Tae Kwon Do - Tornado Kick

wow I can never get that kick right and ive been practicing for a while now and Im a green belt

Someone tried this on me. I got hold of him with both feet off the ground and slammed him onto the concrete. Needless to say he went to hospital and not me. He also looked like a complete tool.

It looks great and if you fight against a retard then it will work great

But normaly someone will intercept it when you start to spin and knock you over

I like to see someone use this move in the UFC and knocking someone out cold.

I suppose so. I'm not a practitioner of TKD so I wouldn't know.

I have however done Eskrima Kali and am doing Wing Tsun now before I move to Jeet Kune Do. I've always enjoyed sparring with people who do TKD. Gives me a good insight to all the kicking that's going on.

Well technically.. when u hit your opponent.. your other foot will have already landed firmly on the ground..

if it didn't then the kick wouldn't even be strong at all..

the real power in the kick is how firmly your standing on the ground when it hits.

kick isnt as hard as it looks, its really really simple actually. its just hard to time or know when to use it in a fight. if you havent practiced it before hand then dont use it. If you are fighting a good opponent he will block it or jam into you during your spin. So its a glass cannon basically

make sure u spar some1 b4 u do...
