dont have them yet but dreading it, im only 12 and getting them on the 20th of this month

i hope you can get them off soon! i had mine for 4 years. the pain will pass in a few days, but until then, you just gotta be gentle. don't you just hate it? when i first got em, i thought it was so cool! hahaha. i hope you at least got cool colors to distract yourself.

ya it hurts like 2-4 days when i first got them (2 YEARS AGO AND STILL HAVE THEM) they just tightened it today and it hurts :(

DAMN when i woke up this morning (day after braces) I almost cried, they hurt like a mother! i was in soo much pain cuz i also had to continue to wear the head gear OUCH!

true. GOD, i remember everytime they used to tighten my braces, it hurt to even touch my teeth. i dreaded those days! and when they didn't cut the wire short enough and it poked into the back of my mouth. thank goodness for dental wax.
