We FILIPINOS, we have this psychological problem...crab mentality. If anyone progresses...we always try to say something against and we pull that someone who has a promise of tomorrow. Any nationality I meet, they are aware that a lot of us have crab mentality. Im an RN and I've been outside the Philippines for a long, long time. I love to be a FILIPINO & Im proud to be one. Let us make it happen and prove to others that together...we can make the difference.

The death of Ninoy Aquino (RIP) was coincidental when Ninoy had a rift with Marcos. He was killed by someone (maybe Ninoy is related to). The irony is the plotters planned it so well so by the time Ninoy will be eliminated..they would pinpoint Marcos to be the mastermind.Maybe she knew the mastermind. Then why don't we ask Butz Aquino, maybe he knows too.Anyway, let us look forward to better our economy. The problem is, we live in the past mistakes & we keep on looking back.

After Marcos, maybe only Fidel Ramos did an upgrade I our economy! The problem with us FILIPINOS is....they succeeded to overthrow Macoy thru Peoples' Power, what people want now....if the President seems not to be effective....they uprise again against the President. Well, the first uprising without bloodshed (with Marcos) was fine. The Philipppines is internationally known for using unity to overthrow a Pres. without bloodshed. After 1986, what then?

The Phils was second from the time of his predecessors, he just inherited the stable economy and government of presidents before him. He was good no question to that. But, he wasn't good enough because it was also in his term that the Phils slowly goes down and by the time he handed it to new presidents he left them with a ruined and wounded nation. A nation that will take years to heal and not one or five presidents could build the Phils from pieces in one day.The people had to support as well.

I agree with you! No sane man would stoop into the level of murder just to extend his term. We are christians and that is inhumane.Common, we knew he wasn't great as most people here had commented. He stole a great amount of money from our treasury and his presidency was a reign of terror, of stage insurgencies and broken promises,in his time pornography proliferated and even reached to this time.

Marcos is a great man of intelligence and strength.He could have been the greatest than the greatest president ever was in the Phils. But sad to say, no offense meant to the Pro-Marcoses, History judged him differently, I need not say what Father Times's verdict was, all good sane Filipinos already know that.Please let us not wake the dead in its rest. With his death let us burry all the hurts and with it the lies of exaggerated Marcos successes and lionization his name

we need another marcos like president, we need a strong president na papatay sa lahat ng mga corrupt na goverment officials! ngaun ung mga pinoy namamatay sa gutom! buti pa ung mamatay sa bala may honor ung mamatay sa gutom and sa sakit kc wala panghospital ano ang tawag don? pinagtatawanan!!! PINAGTATAWANAN na tau ng mga karatig bansa natin wala na ung respeto sa lahi natin ang baba na ng tingin sa mga pinoy!!! kawawa naman tayo putng ina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suggest that all corrupt & useless gov't. officials who know nothing but to sit & twist his seat in the Senate/Congress should be removed. FILIPINOS should be smart/intelligent voters. The problem is long before the Election begins, the Head of the State had already selected the winners. What has she done to her opponent? There was a taped conversation aired...she requested that specific military to cheat the ballots.
