Macedonia was a Greek Kingdom, Like Mycenae, Argos, Sparta,Athens, Thessaly, Arcadia, Achaia, Thebes,Korinth, The Minoans etc.

The Greeks had independent States. But Unified in the Olympics and when a copmmonm threat appeared. They believed in the same Gods, all spoke the same language but they were fiercely independent.

Lets See...All Macedonian Names were Greek..Every thing Macedonian ever found was written in Greek.. Phillip's Dream was to Unite Greece and Destroy Persia. Macedonians were allowed in The Olympics that were only for Greeks.. When Alexander reached Babylon he sent 300 Gold shields to Athens to honor the 300 Spartans. These Shields were kept in the Parthenon.
What other evidence do you want that Macedonians were Greeks ? Read some History prior to the garbage that Tito taught you.

About the lack of Hellenization in Iran this is very true, even the Iranians he appointed to court and satrapy were bilingual, furthermore your typical Iranian peasants spoke Persian and continued their daily lifestyle without much induction into the Greek way of life.

Of course this isnt the case with Egypt,Babylon,Bactria or even the Punjabi tribes where we see the Greek lifestyle effecting even the later Buddhists

She was daughter of Neoptolemus king of Epirus, her father descent from Neoptolemus(son of Achilles).
This formed the basis of Alexander's claims to be a new Achilles and a descendant of him!

This is wonderful. Thank you so much for posting this series. I have visited the Greek places in the north of Greece (Thessaloniki, Vergina, etc.) where one can see artefacts of the Macedonian Greeks including huge bronze urns of remarkable beauty. I recommend everyone take this pilgrimage and put aside their politics for the sake of understanding the beauty of art.
