That was hilarious, they should do one like that for all really famous classical pieces.

  • Wonderful! Repeat ...

Wonderful! Repeat to catch every detail. What is the source-DVD? Brilliant idea, well executed though not perfect. Why are some impressed that it's live? Every day stage artists around the world perform live. TV & recording studios offer the luxury of correcting mistakes, but actors, comedians, dancers and musicians continue to perform live--the crown of performance art. Great ones are not just talented, they also practice! Thanks for the fun vid! (BTW, it's not pantomime if you mouth words.)

This was actually quite wonderful. I happen to be reading a great classic "The Silent Language" by Edward Hall - a thorough introduction to Body Language and Mime of which Sid Caesar has always been a master. Thank you for posting it. A real treat.

  • The amazing thing ...

The amazing thing is that this was "live" TV. They did all of this in one take. No edits.
I agree with the comment about the public becoming lazy. Our collective short attention span is robbing us of great comedy like this.
