i really apreciate your words, i agree ppl need to stop critisizing, specially when they lack the knowledge :). but, like i said, romans, greek, jews, including isrealites, considered long hair a shame. if you study the roman culture, you'll r ealized their hair was perfectly cut down. having their hair down to their shoulder was condired long :)....

but for those who critisize "whoever believes to be firmed, make sure you dont fall" :)

Long hair in the biblical since is extremely different from what we think today Long hair on a woman was to be long enough to cover her backside(this would be quite long) So a man to have hair that just touched his shoulders would not be considered long. Do yourself a favor and study biblical history along with the bible, and stop critisizing men who are obviously doing a great work with their God given talent by reaching so many with a great message

its a sin for you to have long hair? dont do it, if its not feel free to do it and let the Lord judge you by your acts :). if you dont have knowledge the bible condeems it, listen to waht your concience tells you, for you will also be judge by what you thought was wrong and you still do it :).. now, Paul wasnt trying to say that it is a sin for all of us to have a long hair:).. but hes said that by then it was decorative for women to have long hair and for men to have short hair :).

today we get into what i call, the Law of Conciousness, whick means, that its bad to do, whatever you think is bad to do and you still do it. we will all be judge by the light we've received:)

what this means, is that Nazarite men was not to let his hair be cut if they made that vote before God, thats why it was good for them to have long hair, thats probably one of the reasons why Jesus was said to have long hair, after all wasnt he a Nazarite?

also, back then, it was a custom to have short hair for the greeks, romans and jews. some israilites did so to, unless like i said before, they were nazarite.

ok my dear brother and sisters in Christ. this "long" hair subject has been going on for a while. let me remind you of something very important now that some have brought 1 Cor where Paul talks about.

it is vital to understand two things.. by then and before pual's time, it was a "shame" for the ppl of God to have long hair, except for a special group, those who made the vote of Nazarite (Núm. 6: 1-5; Juec. 13: 5; 16: 17; 1 Sam. 1: 11; ver com. Núm. 6: 2)

When Paul wrote his letter to te church, this orientation about men using long hair was for the local congregation. We cristians need to respect the local culture if it´s not against the word of God...

God loves us so much that if God tolerated King David's adultery and womanizing then he loves lnog hair. Remember God does not count our sins, nor are we forsaken or abandoned. He renews His grace with every rising sun

it says it's a shame, not a sin. guy and david are both very Godly men and if their long hair was a burden, God would let them know and i'm certain they would get a haircut if God told them to!

Absolutely awesome voices, But doesn't the Bible say, "Even the world says it is a shame for a man to have long hair?" Not criticizing, just asking a question!

You can notice the class of Mark in this version, compared to Russ Taff in the Whitehouse version. Marky Marky different class. From the videos I have seen Guy, David, Mark and Bill seem there perfect GVB, pity its changed. Life goes on........

Has anyone else noticed that every time David sings at least Guy (if not all of them)ALWAYS raises his hands?? How awesome is that? I also raise my hands a lot while listening to David.

David Phelps is awesome. He is actually better singing with this group than he is solo. The Gaithers are not the same without David. ITA! These 4 together are the best!
