An international team of astronomers using the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has discovered a ghostly ring of dark matter formed long ago during a colossal collision between two galaxy clusters. This is the first time that dark matter has been found with a distribution that differs substantially from the distribution of ordinary matter. Light years are actually units of distance not time.
By SpeedcoreDandy [Affiliate User] 1204182856ok.. explain to me please, it's 5 billion light years away... but the collision happened 2 billion years ago.. would we really have to wait another 3 billion years before we can see it from our solar system (space/earth)?..
By Target842 [Affiliate User] 1204080471There's no such a thing as the "dark matter".
By oztronix [Affiliate User] 1204037508also with the three states of matter
solid
liquid
gas
Could there be more? that havnt been discoverd on this planet or on space im not an expert but i have been intereseed since a child and here comes the theory are we ment to be in space? and what happens In dark matter? whats at the end of the universe a wall? is so what is behind the wall or is it a circle like earth? this is were my theory's collide remember there is more hen 1 answer ti a question and thee are the answere i wan to find.
dark matter cannot be seen it is just there and beacause you cant see it is it really there the fact is something is there that cannot be seen by the human eye and is the impossible sustancethat makes life whole is you can manage to find it you can call yourself God it had no particles (has been proven) is is invisible and can move through anything... are we going to find it come on i doubt it this is porbaly just a minor radioactive buubble at best (also could be a gas no liquid ib space)
By CHRIS11OF11ABERNANT [Affiliate User] 1203976119if there is waht u call god he would have to be everything otherwsie somethign would be seperate from him and then he wouldnt be god as he would occupy soem kind of space within the whole

By efsevn [Affiliate User] 1203638217every one believ in somthing ... an atheist is an atheist he believ in nothing but, nothing can also be everysing en reversed ... its like you dont have a schois - you every time belive in somthing, its just impossible that we are the intellegensed things in teh world i think we are evin to stupid ... like why the f*** we need to know that motherf**** information about darkmather ...
By russiaknower [Affiliate User] 1203607905Well, you're entitled to your belief, but, to bash on someone else's belief just doesn't quite seem justified! I could understand the need to evangelize with christianity cuz they tell you to do that from the beginning! But to then say you just believe in the power of god, or a god, and not the good and evil....is there really the need to tell people that what they believe is wrong? It just seems a little off to me.
By thatguy431 [Affiliate User] 1203532467hmmm - i sed you dot understud it ... its not the point that he exist like a person but a power - i am christian but the rules in that religion are kine of a strange - i just believ in god - not the rules - i dont want to kill people or steal, but sheat on a whoman is not a krime ... i jsut believ in the power the good and the evil
By russiaknower [Affiliate User] 1203519341That in mind, to say that everything is moving faster and faster away, MAY not be true. Therefore, meaning that, perhaps, there never was a big bang! Granted, my word is definitely not law, and it's not like ive done all the research myself, but i have done a lot of reading and that is what ive found. Just a thought! Remember, there are no facts in science other than what can be observed! Everything else is theory, supported by tests and further observations, but may not necessarily be true
By thatguy431 [Affiliate User] 1203461914Youre completely right! Dark matter DOES have to do with the BB theory. They measure apparent speed of distant galaxies according to hubbles law and the doppler effect. What seems to be less known is the shapiro effect, which shows that, the speed of light actually is not a constant while traveling through different gravitational fields. Meaning it looses energy as it goes through different fields, meaning it has a larger redshift if its traveled a larger distance!
By thatguy431 [Affiliate User] 1203461670gravitational field* :)
By thatguy431 [Affiliate User] 1203461143wow, thats a good way to make people think like you! threats! not to mention, if youre going to say to believe in god, then use profanity and suggest fornication....what kind of image are you putting on your god-believing people?!?! it seems to me that you, my friend, are a bit hypocritical. if youre going to be an ass to people, whats the point in believing in god when youre doomed to hell. how about you live how you want and not worry about some supernatural being!
By thatguy431 [Affiliate User] 1203461078i dont smoke - and if you say god dont exist you dont understand the plesir in live - stupid nurd - go f*** a girl tomb rider want be there for ever
