Wait a minute! I have a serious objection. Dear tariqthedecentman, Please think carefully again what you are trying to say in this video. The first part is okay. But we dont have modify our religion to satisfy the western world. "Muslim woman taking part in Beauty Contests", wearing bikinis, what is this? This is just sickness and ignorance. Do not we believe that Allah is All wise. Why should a woman have to lead a country? The role of a woman is much bigger, to build humans.

Good Video. Though, in Islam we dont have girls showing their bodies in "Beauty Pageants". This is not allowed in Islam. We dont need to show people that we allow our sisters and mother to run into these things.
Islam is great and anyone who attacks Islam will not do that if he/she reads about it.
Thanks for the video, but keep in mind Islam is great without trying to make it fit others. It is a comprehensive religion from God for everyone and every where.

All through the videos, I have found that arabs have bragged about their "achievments" yet what they seem to fail to recongise is that their culture and traditions are not being accepted by the west, rather they are westernising them selves to be accepted.....Theres a big difference.

Islam is'nt the enemy I agree with everyone ,yet there is a lot of oppression within muslim countries from culture and so forth which need to be dealt with.

I also thank mahfuz1012, he made a great point about how muslims are bending the rules to meet the wests ideals.

This common misconception even amongst Muslims comes from Seyidna Muhammad(saaws). He taught us that women were at the top of the social ladder. They were so protected and treated like queens by there men. Western thoughts may think its oppression. But its not, they dress modestly. In the Middle East, birth of Islam and Christianity women who dressed modestly were only the wealthy. Because they could afford a modest living. So Islam told us to dress modest so you can be respected like a queen.

Islam rocks muslim women RULE!!!!!! do not make fun of them there following there religion just the way your following yours muslims dont make fun of your religion theyre nice people so u be nice to them!

well , islam has always been fought throughout history and one day islam wil raise, but we have to fight back, the vedio is nice and it has a point ,one thing though , its not right if muslim girls are in buety contests. involving Bikini's! dont mean to be critcal , id like to call it +ve fedback :) so i hope its not taken the wrong way. I agree entirely with this video.

However, I have read significant portions of the Koran and it is not 'great', nor does it promote sexual equality. There are many worrying passages in the Koran that if taken literally would be barbaric. An example is where 'if women have 'lewed' thoughts.

There is nothing 'enlightening' about the Koran, nor religious texts such as the bible for that matter.

However, Islam itself is not what 'causes' the oppression of women - fact.

I note no one commented on the picture of the soldier about to execute the women holding her CHILD in her arm, at 4:04! What kind of monster can do this to a mother & her CHILD for god sake!!!!! All the more reason why we need religion, for only the fear of god wrath would stop people committing such horrendous crime. The picture made me cry buckets.
