Breastfeeding, Kristin and Kalden

I respect your choice not to breatfeed, it's more work especially towared the beggining. This is your choice though; formula babies can grow up healthy, strong and smart. Breast feed babies can still grow up to be waitresses, porn stars, lawers, doctors, and hobos, just as formula babies. The main benfit is for the health of the baby, and lowing the risk of SIDS. However when you are making choices for your child, you need to place their needs before your own. Just my two cents.

There are many reasons why I have no intention of breastfeeding. My nieces were raised on formula and they are all healthy, happy, thriving children. Why commit to such a demanding schedule? Why subject your breasts to so much wear and tear? Why stress about whether you have enough milk or if your child is getting enough milk....or dealing with clogged breast ducts...or mastitis...the concept of breastfeeding is just not appealing to me.

I know a lot of women that have had babies and they have not lost the baby weight and they DID breastfeed. Also, I know women that DID breastfeed and they still had breast cancer, my mother included. There is no guarantee that breastfeeding will eliminate cancer and the excess pregnancy weight.

Studies have shown that breast feeding is very good for your body lowing the risk of breast cancer and help you loose the weight gaind by pregnancy. Also it is not breast feeding that makes your breast sag (if that is what you mean by neglecting appearence), it's being pregnant that does that.

Women do have a choice what to do with their own bodies, but when it comes to breastfeeding young infants, it's not only the womens body that is affected but the childs. Wanting the best for your baby wanting them to be healthy smart, strong, for them to grow properly, that want takes the choice away from you. Because you choose for your child not yourself. There are medical reasons why a mother can't nurse and those should be respected. But if the choice is made for convenice, that's wrong.

Who cares about mothering! Not everybody in the world feels the need to pro-create or breastfeed for that matter. Seems you've made it your mission in life to chastise women who don't want to become a lactating cow. Get a real manly hobby like scratching your groin.

How old are you? (No offense to juvenile's I'm sure many young kids including my 5 yr old know more about mothering than you do) Are you American? (Again I know a heap of really great American's)..it just seems that there are also a LOT of ignoramuses there. I just get this impression that you are a young dumb, selfish, loud mouthed yank. Real men can differentiate between the 2 different functions that breasts have.

Well that is fine..you don't give a S**t about your child's meal..you don't give a S**t about me...fantastic.. Actually I am happily married to a caring woman that thankfully breastfed both of our children. I wouldn't have married her if she was a selfish bitch like you.
