This was our <b>physics</b> lab final for one of our undergrad courses at Lewis and Clark. Fun experiment that visually demonstrates standing sound waves. This same phenomena occurs through out nature, but it gets even better with fire!

    I would suggest checking out wikipedia's entry on Rubens' tubes. We used a lot of the references from the wiki to help construct the tube. Good luck!
