drunk style was made by 8 kang fu masters. The uniqueness of drunk style is opponents cant predict drunk style moves. Shaolin monks they do train to read opponents' moves. Drunk style is kinda for they to read.the two of 8 kang fu masters were a girl and a handicap(he has

actually its not called drunken fist its called eight drunken immortal kung fu! hence theres eight gods and it is a real martial art check out the wushu competitions on youtube there there!

but you don't actually have to drink to do it, it just replecates the fluid movements of being drunk. they just made hium drink a lot in the movie to add a bit of comedy
