ok this isn't an average tourney and definitely not for gus. its a whole season based on a point system and gus HAS to be agressive. all in all the time either amassing chips or busting. he can't crawl to 2nd thats no good. so don't judge gus (who albeit is pretty loose) by this particular match.

Gus played a great tourny. But he did get very lucky, winning about 3 or 4 all in's with the worst starting hand, twice he was a 20% to 70% underdog. But hey, he played great.

Haha, it's always the occasional nutjob calling a great player like Gus a fool. Yep, it's really easy to say he makes some idiotic plays when you are sitting in front of a tv and you can see all the players hands.

Gus would be my nightmare opponent, cause he's near impossible to read. Gus plays extremely wild at times but he obviously mixes up his game. To call a 3-time WPT champion a lucky gambler and not a poker player, that's just plain stupid.

Gus Hansen is an awesome player. People don't base your entire opinions of him on this. He can switch up his strategy. For this tournament it was do or die. He had to play all-in every hand style. This a good quote for poker "In doesn't matter where you place only 1st gets the money."
