John Mcenroe Goes Ballistic at the Umpire

I wonder how Tatum O'Neal was able to adjust & tolerate during their adjustment as husband & wife during their early years. I'm not denying he was a great tennis player. He was a tool because he felt the need to constantly attemt to undermine the umpire by arguing. Its unsportsmanlike and just shows he was a S**t bloke.

yeah but if you have to stoop to mcenroes level rather than back your own ability then it comes back to sportsmanship and having some honour and pride in yourself.most sports wouldn't tolerate such behaviour.

my friend does the same exact thing to throw off his opponents and now hes playing D1 tennis at a good school. whatever works for ya

john mcenroe was a great tennis player,but he used this tactic to put his opponent off his game,plain and simple the man was a cheat he did this in most of his matches,mainly when his opponent was getting the upper hand.

That's why Mcenroe sucked all the time. He was a loser for manners like that.

Great footage, John hated Lendl, during a match at the US Open he called him a "F**king communist." He also lobbied to keep Lendl off the US Davis cup team when Lendl became a US citizen. He was succesful.
