Responding to Commenter, it really wasn't as intense as SPR portrayed it to be. But yes people did die.

during the battle, u used the saving private ryan sounds. at least give tham some credit

haha we are, hell i "died" on the bluff's. there were 3 waves. first wave was our group, the 29th and rangers. then other units came in with 2 OTHER waves. We took heavy loses, so much so the people who put it on said "we have come close to losing d-day by to many taking there hits on the beach before" So alot fell..... but we only have so many in our reenactment group.... ide say 60+ came from all over the USA from my group, the 29th SOOOO only so many can die. thanks for interest. cheers!

OH LORD I TOTALY AGREE! See.... im in the video a many of time. hell ill tell you the times you see me. But i also do other impressions

- 1st canadian parachute battalion HQ company
- 29th infantry (as seen)
- 2/14th aif australian (VERY PROUD)
- Grossdeutschland (german if you cant tell)
- DAK FJ (german paratrooper for africa *Afrika Korps*)

Each one im VERY proud of. Ive meet vets from every unit i do. Makes me proud, what ever uniform it may be...

You couldent be more correct! But if you read correctly you will see that it reads "the 29th division LEFT for England late in 42" not the beaches were invaded in late 42.
