By far the greatest Deep Forest videoclip, but not the greatest song in my opinion.

Porsche used their album in the 993 model promotional video, anyone know where I can find a copy of it. It was very well done and narrated by Patrick Stewart.

Truly world music that everyone can enjoy! In such troubled times, this is so refreshing to hear.

Deep Forest is basically two french guys. They record local cultural music from around the world and then remix it electronically.

I LOVED this recording from the first time I heard it and had to listen to it everyday for over a month!! I became a Deep Forest addict. The drum beat's along with the girl/woman's voice send out very strong vibration's of LOVE. I wanted to hear the original too and want to know how they recorded this work!

Squirrel, you are right. This album is fused with tunes from Pygmy music. There really is no original; however, ethnomusicologists have gone to central Africa, and there are catalogues of field research that I am sure you can find.

From what I remember from my music class I think the song that the woman/girl sings is from a Fulani tribe, and also the girl's voice isn't strange it's purposely like that. She cracks her voice a certain way to make two notes sound at the same time. I wish I could find the original...:(

finally when i was like 5 my dad had this album on a tape and we lost and I finally found it. thank you i don't think this music will ever be old and will always bring back memories and I'm only 14.

This video was produced and directed by Kevin Godley & Lol Creme. The first person running into the distance is me!! The second one my ex misus and then both the young boys are my kids - Alex & Danny.
We had a good time shooting this and I have been looking for this for years. Never saw it when we shot it.

I enjoyed their music from the beginning - and I remember this video was on a CD that came with my Toshiba Satellite Pro 440CDX like 10 or 11 years ago......I probably still have that disc.

Nice idea...who doesn't love this kind of music? I find it impossible to not to love it!
