The number of people from other countries (not just America) in the past 5 years who have told me (online of course, usually in a generalised conversation) they have wanted to come to Australia for a very long time, is just phenomenal, to the point where some of them have made it here to visit, and planned to return in the future because they loved it so much. We're isolated, we're original (in the sense of wildlife) and I'll be damned if I'd dare to wish I was ever born in another country!
