The audi r8 has a 4.2L pushing 417hp and they are coming out with an r8 with a 6L v12 diesel pushing 500hp and 738hp. Plus the build quality is way better. my brother's '97 del sol has more hp per liter than your amazing mustang! and it sounds about 1000 times better and it's a 4 cylinder! DETROIT S**kS !

if Ford's cars are so much more advanced than european cars, why are the so boastful of their "European inspired suspension"? Also, The dodge Viper srt-10, which is an 8.4 liter, is only pushing 600hp and redlines at 6250rpm. The bmw m6 pushes 507hp out of a 5 liter and revs to 8250rpm!

Just because of the fact that the Audi is superiorly build does not mean it is soulless. If you love driving you would rather drive the audi instead of a mustang.

Maybe you're right pilihp0. Maybe they shouldn't be compared. Once car, the Mustang, is a serious street racing moster, a real car made for real people who know and love driving. The other car is a souless piece of Euro engineering, designed from technology stolen from the big American manufacturers, just like the Euros have always done. Driving a 1.0 litre Poogot or some other typical Suro car and the Audi feels exactly the same: functional, effecient, but so boring. Driving the Mustand = sex!

Its not leaf suspension that is superior off the line, its a live axle that makes the difference. FTR, I'd use the Corvette to compare rather than the Mustang, its a much closer match than the wobbly Mustang to the RS4

The FRENCH invented the car?!?! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! WTF!?!?! When did they find the time to invent the car, when they were always surrendering to the Germans in every war?! HA HA HA HA! And leaf suspension is still used because it is FAR superior for off the line acceleration. And while you may need to spend more money to get a Mustang to 500BHP than a RS4, the Mustang costs like 1/3 of the Audi in the first place. And I am not a troll, just someone who really knows cars.

this car would eat a msutang on a track! the mustang would suffer badly of the line for a start against the RS4. and cornering in the RS4 is 100 timesa better than the mustang. the RS4 has quattro for wheel drive, mustang isnt. also the mustang still runs of leaf suspension!
