Cousteau was in the group of people who hated and feared birds, that's why he spent most of his life in the ocean.

You are wrong about the reason his plane crashed. Some migrating geese flew into his propellers and stalled the engines. Ironic, isn't it. He hated and feared birds...and trees.

You might be interested to know that John, like Neil Diamond, was deathly afraid of birds. The song Calypso is about the quest for a place on earth free of vile birds. Nice song.

You are like many who talk parts of lyrics or word written out of context and try to make something else out of them. You are a conspiracy theorist at best. And your statements about Cousteau are totally unfounded. The man was involved in inventing much of what is used today for scientific exploration. His was a platform for much of the exploration that occurred of the world oceans.

River, Cousteau had pioneered and invented almost ALL of the diving gear in use. Where do you get your info? As for John killing himself, that plane failed.
