Black women fat? I've been to the Dominican Republic, and none of the black women there were fat. Most Afro-Cuban women are slim.

I'd say most African-American people suffer from obesity since America is ridden with fast food, and artificial food.

white women are fat
hispanic women are fat

in fact...how about the fact that most fatness is attributed to poverty..and bad health...focus on that...

Society set there standards on everything. Black women are naturally have more curves etc. than other women. It's a genetic straight that I happen to love. I would never consider you fat Tonya, your perfect in my book, but the center for disease control are measuring you up with Paris Hilton and othe small framed caucasion women. I think they need to rethink this obesity statistic.

Why is everything about dissecting the black women, damn sometime I feel like we are a continuous a lab study to everybody and they momma. Damn can a sista just live her life without somebody always having to tear her down into pieces. You're not the most trimmest person in the world so how could you ever feel like you're on a pedestal to look down on somebody for being "FAT", you look like you're just a salami stick away from fat yourself. I see fat and thin women of all races. Get a life!

1st of all I would just like to say, Tanyatko is not fat. She looks physcially fit and besides muscle weighs more than fat so someone could be leaner than someone else of the same weight and both be labeled "overweight." Also, from a medical standpoint, Android obesity(fat arond the abdomen is what's contributing to health problems). Gynoid(fat distribution in the lower body)(pear-shape)may be unflattering to some but its not as harmful to health as android fat distribution(apple shape).
