Drove all the way from Madison, Wi to Cinn. Gardence to see CCR play live on July 20, 1971 (I still have in mint shape one of the concert posters I took off the wall, last summer I drove from Madison to Cinn Gardens to see John, almost 36 years later. STILL BETTER THAN EVER!!!!

The song was recorded at Fantasy Studios in Oakland in released as a single and as part of the albumn "Creedance Clearwater Revival" in 1968. Yes, CCR was the MAIN ACT at Woodstock (1969) on Sat. They followed it up with Proud Mary, Born on a Bayou, Bad Moon Rising, Lodi, Green River and on and on.....

this is definately not 87. it is 97. he mentions he has had this kustom amp since before woodstock the first one. and the 2nd woodstock was in 94.

This may well HAVE been 1987, as I remember seeing an incredible performance then, the first in years. I'm not sure if that was really the old band or just Fogerty though.
